Job Description

Position supports the enterprise wide approach to managing, maintaining, and developing corporate digital assets using the Salesforce Marketing Cloud and IBM Websphere Portal. The role involves coding technologies for Salesforce and other digital properties. Position evaluates digital solutions and marketing cloud platforms, integrations, participating in discovery workshops, feasibility analysis, data confirmation, gathering requirements, testing and training.

  • Design and build digital technical solutions for the web experience and the Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Digital journey and solution development using Ampscript, HTML, CSS and javascript.
  • Coordinate Salesforce development and overall user experience in creating campaign assets and digital resource.
  • Manage the digital request center to coordinate content workflows via the authoring environment (express workflow, full approval workflow, etc).
  • Ongoing advanced integration and regression testing in line with Salesforce modification requirements.
  • Code digital applications to foster analytic tracking and reporting capabilities and metrics via Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to gauge effectiveness and engagement as well as provide analysis and direction for enhancements and added functionality.

Education, Certification, and Licenses:

Bachelor's degree

Experience:

  • Requires 5 years experience in website maintenance and building in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Understanding of WCAG 2.0 compliance and responsive design strategies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and ability to use languages: HTML, CSS, SQL, JavaScript, AmpScript and and Salesforce applications (Journey builder, email studio, Contact studio, and Social Studio).
  • Ability to design, optimize and integrate business processes across disparate systems.

Skills:

  • Strong ability to develop, prioritize, execute, coordinate and manage web site updates and projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a variety of audiences (all levels of management). Possess effective tact and diplomacy skills.
  • Ability to conduct, manage and balance multiple projects and priorities simultaneously under deadline pressure.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently with other departments within CBC for business requirements, design and content, IT on technical aspects and team members to guide web site direction and experience.
  • Ability to collaborate with web developers, review and enhance technical processes.
  • Review web developer user experience for requirement fulfillment.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to perform job assignments independently and adapt to changing work environment, workload requirements and reporting relationships.

Knowledge:

  • In-depth experience in Salesforce and web architecture and design, technical site management skills, internet-based applications and regression testing.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to sit, use hands to finger, handle and feel, and talk, hear, and see. The employee must be able to work over 40 hours per week. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 5 pounds.
